As always, PayPal helps keep your business safe with industry-leading fraud protection, but now you can control your level of risk - to allow only the types of transactions you prefer. The pricing is simple and affordable. Process the major credit cards for one low rate. If you process more than £5,000 per month, you qualify for our best rate: only 2.2% + £0.20 per transaction, with a low monthly fee of £20. (paypal often update there prices please check)

PayPal Express Checkout



Here's how to set up PayPal Express Checkout in 123 Cart

  • Step 1: Purchase 123 Cart
  • Step 2: Set Up a Verified PayPal Business Account
  • Customers who don't have an existing PayPal account:
    1. Go to PayPal.
    2. Click Sign Up Today.
    3. Set up an account for Business Owners.
    4. Follow the instructions on the PayPal site.
  • Customers who already have a Personal or Premier account:
    1. Login to your PayPal Account
    2. Click the Upgrade your Account link.
    3. Click the Upgrade Now button.
    4. Choose to upgrade to a Business account and follow instructions to complete the upgrade.
    5. If you haven't already, add a bank account to become a Verified member. Follow the instructions on the PayPal site. (This process may take 2-3 business days.)
  • Step 3: Setup API Access
    1. Log in to your PayPal Business account.
    2. Click the Profile subtab located in the top navigation area
    3. Click the API Access link under the Account Information header.
    4. Click the Get Started link under the Request API Credentials heading.
    5. Click the API SSL client-side certificate radio button under the Credential Type heading.
    6. Complete the API Certificate form by clicking the agreement checkbox and clicking Submit.
    7. Write down the values listed next to API Username and Password
    8. Click on Download Certificate button and download the certificate.
    9. Login to your 123 Cart adminstrator area and go to Cart Settings >> Payment Methods
    10. Activate the PayPal Express Checkout module, upload the API certificate and configure the gateway using API username and API password.
